His ministry includes more than seventeen years as a senior pastor, speaking throughout the United States at churches, men’s conferences, leadership events, NFL chapel services, and Think Right seminars. Internationally, he has ministered in Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Pretoria, and Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dr. Chipman earned a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Think Right Live Right, Men-Talities, and Winning the Battle for Your Mind.

My Story
For many years, I believed that if I faithfully served God, life would unfold as planned. But a season of overwhelming hardship challenged everything I thought I knew.
Within a relatively short period of time, I lost two jobs, endured false accusations, faced multiple lawsuits, watched the church I pastored struggle under IRS liens, experienced ministry setbacks, financial uncertainty, marital strain, and carried the weight of deep regret. Gradually, fear, discouragement, and negative thinking stole the joy and peace I once knew.
The loudest battle wasn’t around me—it was within me.
The Accuser relentlessly whispered lies:
“You’ll never recover. God can’t use someone like you. You’ve failed.”
Eventually, exhausted and broken, I fell to my knees and cried out to God. That prayer became the turning point of my life.
The Lord led me to begin studying what Scripture teaches about renewing the mind. As I immersed myself in God’s Word—and explored practical insights into how our thoughts shape our lives—He began replacing fear with faith, lies with truth, despair with hope, and defeat with renewed purpose.
Over time, I discovered an unforgettable truth:
I didn’t have to let my thoughts control me. Through God’s truth, I could learn to control my thoughts.
Looking back, I now realize God never abandoned me. What I once viewed as rejection was actually His redirection. He used my deepest wounds to prepare me for a new ministry—helping others overcome destructive thinking and discover the freedom that comes through the transforming power of God’s Word.
Today, Think Right Ministries exists because God first transformed my own life.
Whether through preaching, biblical counseling, conferences, books, or discipleship, my passion is helping people replace fear with faith, renew their minds through Scripture, and experience lasting transformation—one thought at a time.
As the Apostle Paul reminds us, God comforts us “so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4).
My prayer is that the hope God gave me will become the hope He gives you. If God can renew my mind, He can renew yours. No matter what you’re facing today, there is hope. Your story isn’t over. God is still transforming lives—one thought at a time.
